COURSE OBJECTIVES :

 

Based on well-established principles and objectives of trauma management, the course intended to provide physicians with one acceptable method for safe, immediate management and the basic knowledge necessary to:

 

A. Identify the trauma related major life-threatening disease processes and the

     resultant rapid deterioration.

B. Resuscitate and stabilize the patient on a priority basis..

C. Explain the importance of timely treatment and a major predictor of good

     outcome for the trauma patient.

D. Assess the patient’s condition rapidly and accurately

E. Be familiar with individual organ injury and management

F. Be familiar with life saving post-traumatic surgical intervention techniques in

    detail
