Pain
Management for the Elderly
Pain in the elderly is often unrecognized and
under treated. Ineffective Pain management can have a significant
impact on the quality of life of older adults, leading to
depression, social isolation, and a loss of function.
The Egyptian Geriatric Society (AGS) in
collaboration with The Egyptian Society of Anesthesiologists (EgSA)
, The Egyptian Society for Management of Pain and The Egyptian
Society of Physical Medicine are proud to be the host organizers of
this world class event highlighting recent trends in management of
Pain for the elderly.
This course will address the
current multidisciplinary approach for Pain management to achieve
better therapeutic outcomes.

Simulation Education in the Pediatric ( ICU )
Teaching of physicians and nurses trainees in a
manner that minimizes medical errors and ensures competency is a
priority.
To improve performance and reduce errors in
patient care, medical simulation programs have been used in several
centers for:
Re-creating clinical environments and improving
skills.
Assessing interpersonal interactions with other
clinical staff.
Evaluating teamwork, leadership, and communication
skills.
Integrating knowledge, skills and decision making.
This course addresses areas of simulation
education relevant to training in the Pediatric Intensive Care
Environment.
